By mounting the motor on a pivoting mount the weight of the motor will keep the AX drive V-belt tensioned properly. The motor mount pivots on a 1" diameter shaft welded to a plate. Positioning of the motor had to allow for clearance of the clutch bellcrank engagement mechanism and also tension the drive belt.
